1450318 2018-06-08 04:05:00 Yesterday I updated 2 Windows Chrome browsers, and one Mint Chromium browser.
On all 3 a new extension appeared called "convertio extension - file converter".
I tried to remove it, but the extension returns upon re-launching the browser. I have cleared all the cache's.
The extensions are not synced, but other settings are.

The convertio extension appears to be a useful one, but I didn't ask for it. I have scanned the Windows machines with Malwarebytes, but nothing found.

Any ideas?

1450319 2018-06-08 07:19:00 Are all 3 browsers using the same gmail account? It's possible that for that user you have said you wanted that extension.

You would need to check your gmail settings for that.

Alternatively removing pesky extensions usually results in removing the folder, the registry entry, checking control panel, however you added Mint into the equation, which probably means the above information is the actual problem.
