They make alot of claims re how good their anti crypto is. AV free : Ive tried that . Cant comment on how effective it is. AV free doesnt have all the features of their paid version. Hitman : I used to use that before Sophos bought it. Its OK , wasnt as good Mbytes Hardware Firewall : yes, tried that as well. Mbytes is a really good product with a proven track record . It cleans better than most other AV products (id say it cleans better than any other) Cleaning isnt the same as prevention, I'd presume it was also good at blocking malware |

| 1449634 | 2018-05-18 08:03:00 | I have Malwarebytes 3.2.2 Pro on its own on 3 computers, so far it has been very good. Sophos Home Premium is the one which claims to cover everything that Malwarebytes does. It is cheaper, $80 for 10 machines, compared to 3 machines with Malwarebytes. |

It also allows the administrator to access a control panel and change settings that determine what each individual PC can do. For instance, I can set one PC to block all porn sites but others are allowed to access them. It seems to work OK, but I will let everyone know if it fails to prevent the next virus attack here. |
