That's what everyone says.
Thats' not how you determine reliability.

Many people had Hyena PSUs too without issue.

Or haier appliances. Or whatever.

It's how many failures per 1000, say.
Over 5%, at least in electronics was considered bad.

Probably not by hyena actually, they may have thought 40% was great.

1449552 2018-05-16 06:11:00 Our Veon is 5 years old and still going strong no issues at all Ours is roughly the same. The only problem (if you can call it that) is the sound isn't that flash.

Soon fixed that with a decent set of External Speakers.

Compared to some of the other higher priced TV's, the picture is crystal clear and sharp.

Video depends on the codec support they have built in, You may never get a TV that will support the number of video codecs in use and the license cost of having that support would be huge, especially the same with support for sound. So most TV, DVD, etc support MPEG-4 (H.264) with MP3 or AAC sound.

Just because it says it's an AVI file, just that alone would not tell us how it was compressed/encoded.

The only way to solve this is to transcode your videos to another format or buy/use a device that can transcode on the fly.

I have a media server which I have a DNLA server that transcodes my videos on the fly to devices attached to the TV to use, gaming consoles, chromecasts, etc.

Saves me converting all the different formats I have accumulated.
