Just about the only thing out on the streets moving was public transport, and then with very few passengers on board ... everyone else was glued to the TV. If I recall right, NZ had despatched a Canberra bomber across the ditch in readiness to collect a copy of the tape and bring it back in time for the evening TV news broadcast. |

I went across the road to get a drink during the moon walk and there was hardly a car in site. Normally this road was very busy at that time if the day..
