| 885884 | 2010-05-18 01:05:00 | Hello and aloha forum people. A friend of mine has what appears to be a viral infection on her laptop. She currently uses norton...yes i know about how 'good' it is supposed to be...NOT. I currently use eset NOD32 exclusively with back up from windows defender and crap.cleaner...i have never had a problem with my system since taking good advice from those on this forum. My issue is this, I would like to help my friend and perhaps clean her system using my software. Is that possible and if so how would i go about it? I would be grateful for any suggestions and advice. many thanks, mahalo, hoanikai |

| 885886 | 2010-05-18 01:45:00 | Step 1: Uninstall Nortons Step 2: Install either NOD32 if she is happy with a pay one or MS Security Essentials if she wants free Scan Step 3: INstall SPybot and Malware Bytes and scan with both If it's clean this needs to be doen every week. If still not clean, post a Hijackthis log for Speedy to check...... |
