804917 2009-08-28 01:44:00 Dick Smith needs Nerds (reseller.co.nz)

Could be some opportunities for some young tech heads to get into the industry.... Although the franchise arrangement might be off-putting to someone straight out of school, but WINZ might be able to finance it....

Considering the gear Mr Smith sells, they won't be short of work!!!

804919 2009-08-28 02:07:00 If you had a pushbike and a bag, you could service the local area around Mt Eden.... (think that's where you are) :D johcar (6283)
804920 2009-08-28 02:19:00 What pushbike :p Yup I'm in Mt Eden. Speedy Gonzales (78)
804921 2009-08-28 02:23:00 Probably just as well Speedy - we need you here. If you worked for Mr Smith as a Nerd, we'd have one less speedy responder to our problems!! :) johcar (6283)

There may be legal issues if you aren't 18, in terms of contracts, liability, insurance etc. It's worth asking though.

Yea, and they'd probably be looking for full time workers rather than part time..

How do I contact them? Just ring up any DSE store?
