804842 2009-08-28 10:47:00 I was in my kitchen making a salt-water gargle (I've got a runny nose and sore throat but not 'flu) and its the first time I've experienced a quake in NZ. I've been living here for 6 years plus 9 months of previous visits.
It was too dark to see if there was a tsunamicoming into Lyall Bay (my house is 100 m. from and 5m above sea level. So I went back to bed.
