| 886149 | 2010-05-19 06:03:00 | I just installed ubuntu. It worked. Then i just deleted an empty partition. I turn it back on and it says grub loading please wait... Error 17 I cant boot into anything... The 7 recovery doesnt work either. (bootrec.exe) |

| 886151 | 2010-05-19 10:58:00 | Tried thAt but didnt work Cant boot from any thing. I solved it by insertig xp instal disk and deleting the ubuntu partition. I am just gonna stay with xp nd 7 for now... |

| 886152 | 2010-05-19 11:16:00 | For later reference, when you deleted a partition you inadvertently caused the problem. With it gone, GRUB2 could no longer find the correct partition to mount to boot Linux. If you had updated GRUB2 while Ubuntu was still running, you would have avoided this. |
