806878 2009-09-04 20:26:00 This is something that I want to see alright!

Get me front row tickets! Buy me some popcorn and a beer!

Give me a steak and kidney sandwich with mayonnaise while you're at it!

Let me get the actor's autographs!

Sophistry aside - let me say that this is not something I feel can be bandied about on a stage or in a movie except in a secondary school health classes and only with 50% of the student body in attendance and where they put black tape on the actor's eyes so you don't know who they are . .

I know! I know - it's NATURAL - but puh-le-eze - this isn't something about which a play should be made .

Am I being a prude here or has the New Morality grown to equal the Olde IM-morality?

Be careful - this might blow your data limit for the next two months . ( . google . com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=6&url=http%3A%2F%2Fshop . vegas . com%2Fshows%2Fshowtime" target="_blank">www . google . com s2 . jsp%3Fshow%3D863&ei=zmihSqG2GYn-sgPi7KCNDw&usg=AFQjCNHA4c3K1qY_glcVoBZ1xilo7_1Rng)

806879 2009-09-04 20:44:00 I think you are a prude. A play about menopause hardly immoral.

“I wish we all could be sane and normal,” sing all the women to the Beach Boys’ “California Girls.” They are an amusing and honest representation of real women also going through menopause from getting on Prozac to finding companionship with food. There’s no topic off limits for these ladies.

This topic is really tame compared to some other well known shows.

I think that line says a lot! If not me being prudish, then why is this even brought to the surface as "not off limits"?

I don't suggest dark alleys and poolroom conversations - but a little decorum is to be appreciated.

If we want to discuss things that are "natural", might I suggest feces and urine?

Again, those would not be fit subjects for a play or recreational blather either in my mind.

I cannot see myself lining (NZ=queuing?) up for tickets to: "Vomit-The Musical" , at least not without several beers quaffed and beer goggles on and at the ready.

806883 2009-09-04 22:30:00 Maybe the discussion should be less about morality and more about 'taste', particularly the GOOD kind... johcar (6283)
806884 2009-09-04 23:54:00 SWMBO reckons you are a strange person. She asks "do you know what the show is about" There is nothing perverted or strange about it, it is just a show about women and their reactions to a specific time in their life, done in a very funny way.

She says "Get a life Joe - don't go and see it"
