If I mark threads read and then come back a few minutes later some previously read threads are still bold in the headings even though I can see the time of the last post and this is earlier than the current time.

I use IE8 and I know where the refresh button is.

806777 2009-09-04 07:01:00 It may be a time issue on my PC or not.

Just noticed that I was 12 hours behind the actual time.

806778 2009-09-04 07:11:00 I can't understand why it matters.

Can't you remember which ones you have read?:horrified

I thought that it was only silly old fools - such as myself - who have trouble remembering things, but even I can remember which threads I have read.

If you can't remember all that well, do what I do - have a note pad handy. it's not difficult.:)

I can remember what threads I have read but I want to know if a new post arrives as in added to the thread.

I hope this makes it more clear to you and others.

806780 2009-09-04 07:43:00 I'm on IE6 at work, Firefox here at home.

Recently (Maybe a week or so?), threads would still show as unread even though I'd just read them.

edit: Like now... It still shows that I have stuff to read in this thread.

806781 2009-09-04 09:36:00 Have the same thing sometimes, some will show as read, later in the day, they or others don't show.

Actually been using the Browser Lunascape (http://www.lunascape.tv/) a LOT lately , after another PF1 member mentioned it - prefer it over FF,its a LOT faster - in fact FF has not been opened in a few weeks now :D

806782 2009-09-04 10:22:00 Funny how it says its faster than IE, but it needs IE as a requirement Speedy Gonzales (78)
806783 2009-09-04 10:29:00 Funny how it says its faster than IE, but it needs IE as a requirement You basically have a choice of 3 engines, if I select Trident (which says IE) it IS a lot faster than IE. wainuitech (129)
