806444 2009-09-03 02:17:00 I have an old 512MB SIS DDR2-667 SODIMM stick floating around, taken out of my old Eee PC. It's been sitting around for well over a year, and I haven't been bothered to sell it on Trademe.

It was working when I took it out of the machine, and has been stored in an antistatic bag since. For obvious reasons, there is no warranty or guarantee that it works, but it should be fine.

Free to anyone who wants it (PM me your address and I'll post it to you at no cost). I would prefer that it goes to a good cause (i.e. non-profit organisation, charity etc.) rather than just any random person.

806445 2009-09-03 03:15:00 Well I would certainly need one for my older PC I gave to my grandma to use. Heh, she is so funny using the PC, but she loves it. Does take her about 25 minutes to get on the internet though, it's not the 128 that's in there, it's the fact she gets confused with the desktop icons. Lol. =D

Anyway, if it's not taken already, and you would be happy to send it to me, it would be awesome. Please let me know

Thanks

No, it hasn't been taken yet, but this is laptop RAM so it wouldn't fit a desktop PC.

806448 2009-09-03 04:49:00 I also have one, if someone wants it. (512MB is not enough without a paging file. :p)

Edit: 3,333th post :p

806451 2009-09-03 06:13:00 Will this ram be suitable for a Toshiba TE2000 laptop, if so I would love to take it off your hands. zqwerty (97)
806452 2009-09-03 06:16:00 Nope, as the sticks up for offer are DDR2, and by the looks of it, your laptop takes SDRAM - older than DDR1. pcuser42 (130)
806453 2009-09-03 06:30:00 Would it fit a Presario 2500? Have a friend who has 256MB reduced to 192MB due to the onboard video and running WinXP, done checks and it is clean but just not enof RAM. Nomad (952)
