Would have thought leaning on a point would be most uncomfortable.!

806066 2009-09-06 00:16:00 why dont you make a hole by burning it thru with a small soldering iron? prefect (6291)
806067 2009-09-06 01:15:00 Another method would be to remove the strap altogether and apply superglue to the watch.

Stick watch on wrist in the desired place and make sure you get it right the first time.

No more loose watch. Problem solved! :horrified

806068 2009-09-06 10:38:00 If you want a really neat hole punched out, try Mr Minute if you have one near you in a mall somewhere - otherwise a shoe repairer. Also, I think you can buy a cheap squeeze type punch (with the rotary wheel on the end for several different hole sizes) from Bunnings or Mitre 10, for example.

Good luck.

806070 2009-09-12 12:32:00 When I was out window-shopping this afternoon in Howick (East Auckland), I got an additional two holes punched into the strap at a watchmaker for free.

So tada! That's the end of the thread.

Cheers for the helpful suggestions that had come through

Indeed.

It was a matter of which solution is within reach with the minimum effort.
