806539 2009-09-03 08:56:00 Ah - Dragon Roasted toast with cheese and Vegemite. There's nothing quite like it. R2x1 (4628)
806540 2009-09-03 09:08:00 Hot buttered toast, spread lightly with Marmite and then honey or jam. Yum.

I laughed when I read your story, I remember a time when there was a suspicious parcel was left outside work (aircraft hanger) addressed to one of the workers. He wasn't expecting anything so security took it away and blew it up. Birthday cake everywhere!

Oh no! Did they figure out who had sent it?

806542 2009-09-03 09:37:00 Exploded birthday cake is one thing - imagine if they detonated marmite and vegemite, it would be something to put the gingerbread house to shame - an edible neighbourhood! R2x1 (4628)
806543 2009-09-03 10:30:00 Both Marmite (the UK version) and Vegemite are available in the states or at least last time I was there it was gary67 (56)
806544 2009-09-03 11:35:00 They are all wilfuly misleading you. The contents of the jars are a wood preservative. The proper procedure is to scrape out the contents, plaster them thickly on fenceposts that you want to last for ever, wash the jars thoroughly and then fill them with something actually edible - like honey or marmalade. 806545 2009-09-03 11:48:00 Erayd mentioned on this forum a while back that he eats it with porridge.Mmmm, very tasty. Although having it with porridge is something that nobody else I know will do, so maybe I'm just a tad peculiar ;).

Vegemite / Marmite are yeast spreads - very tasty indeed. In my personal opinion Vegemite tastes substantially better than Marmite, but you'll find just as many people will claim it's the other way around. Those people would be wrong!

806546 2009-09-03 11:57:00 Inside the first layer was a box with the logo: "Hyena® 500W ATX12V Ver.2.2 Compliant Switching Power Supply with a 100% burn-in under high temperature" qualifier. My first thought was someone was unkind enough to send you a Hyena branded PSU.

What's the world coming to that a Hyena PSU box actually contained something decent. :p
