It is caused by bad handling and bad wrapping of the cords during transit. There is a prescribed method for doing this. |

| 886649 | 2010-05-20 12:14:00 | No, prescribed method for wrapping cords during transit so as not to cause problem in the first place, sorry, best to try another identical power supply and see if it is the problem or the laptop is f....d and then proceed from there. If the power supply is faulty then I can give advice on how to fix it but first ascertain which is faulty. |

| 886653 | 2010-05-20 23:00:00 | important update: i tried my moms laptop charger( it has the same voltage output/current info as my laptop's charger and hers works. so it is just a faulty charger and nothing worse. also found out that my laptop was brought in april last year so only just out of warrenty. gonna go to where i brought it from to see what they say |
