807241	2009-09-07 02:18:00	my mum they have said numerous things about her health and one is a stroke and fluid on the brain, heart probs............. etc they have also muttered Dememtia a lot. she dyhydrates often. these incidents dont happen every day, she is mostly fine, ( So is she dehydrated because she forgets to drink or is she forgetting things because she is dehydrated? Dehydration can affect people this way you know.	pctek (84)
807242	2009-09-07 05:41:00	We have discussed numerous things that could be doing the damage........ but age and not good health is the main prob. She originally had the flu so put herself to bed, and then didnt let any one know she was in bed. she then did not get herself up to eat or drink. this was the first reason we got her to hospital, the complications of the flu causing vertigo, and we were worried she wasnt eating / drinking because she stayed in bed, and we were working so we were unable to get her drinks etc. so she had 5 or so days in hospital, hith heaps of tests......... ecg, mri ct etc...... the list was endless, and she is going to possibly se a nuerosurgen.... now it is the problem she is not interested in eting / drinking and she is eating hardly anything, but we alays encourage her to eat and drink when we are there, and my sister makes her meals most days. i guess it feels like the old addage you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make it drink. we supply food and drink and she often just looks at it or pokes at it............eating barely anything.... and so if she doesnt drink / eat she has no energy, or seems to do silly things. and yes we have lloked at the food / drink thing but it doesnt matter how much or little she eats, she is still going down hill in the health and mental wellbeing aspect. we are doing what we can, but it seems the public hospital system is rather slow to almost non existent in speed.... so help is slow in coming. Im doing ok, but the beetle brain does seem to get overloaded with all the life worries that are attacking my world at the moment...... and its exhuasting. And there never seems to be enough sleep in my world...:D beetle	beetle (243)
