| 886738 | 2010-05-21 00:20:00 | Hi all. Thanks to all who helped me out with sorting the Toshiba lappy with the above OS. I made recovery discs, went through the recovery process and everything went well. I used Paragon Partition manager to make 2 x 50Gb partitions for data storage (music, video, pics, etc) and also discovered there was a 5Gb hidden partition which I assume is the original recovery partition. Question: The recovery discs were in Chinese and no option to choose another language, had I done a re-install through the hidden partition, would there have been an option to change the OS language to English ? Can anyone suggest a way to change it, other than upgrading to Win7 or using Linux based OS ? As always ... Thanks in advance. |
