| 887267 | 2010-05-22 21:49:00 | I have a Asus L3000D here that shows "Disk Boot Failure" at startup. The HD may have died but is still readable when slaved to another system. I doesent show up in the bios or when booted from a win cd. I am told it did this once previously & was overcome by removing the battery for a short period of time. |

| 887273 | 2010-05-23 02:05:00 | Possibly, HD has been in & out a few times. Had a good look at the conections with a magnifier last time, then sprayed them with contact cleaner. Still didn't work afterwards. Was a couple of hours after that I tryed it & it worked. |
