887152 2010-05-22 06:55:00 Hi, just out of interest .

Take for eg . , Office 2000 is no longer supported . Windows 2000 is ending in July . If a person needs it activated, reinstalled etc . . is that still available?

If not it could be a way to force people to newer OS (and hardware) .

Cheers .

887153 2010-05-22 07:05:00 Yep! - just means the MS are no longer offering support or "fixes" for the product(s).

Some Service Packs may also no longer be available.

887154 2010-05-22 07:08:00 Some sites say you dont have to activate Office 2000. Only versions from Office XP. But other sites say unless SR-1 (if its inc with the install), you do have to activate it Speedy Gonzales (78)
