808515 2009-09-10 05:56:00 Hey, does anyone know any online jobs, or ways to make money online? also I'm not wanting to fill out lots of surveys just to get a couple of bucks. :thanks Sting Ray (15196)
808516 2009-09-10 05:57:00 You could try Amazon Mechanical Turk, but it's not serious money. somebody (208)
808517 2009-09-10 05:59:00 If making a quick buck online was easy and ethical, I think we'd all be doing it. The only thing that comes to mind outside of the usual quick buck dodgy propositions is Amazon's Mechanical Turk (www.mturk.com) but can't say I can recommend it from experience.

Edit: Hah, beaten to the punch.

808519 2009-09-10 06:41:00 you could consider share trading, asb and national bank have online sharetrading. It is as simple as moving money between bank accounts. If you know what you are doing, you can double your money in a few days/weeks. utopian201 (6245)

There's just a tad more to it than moving money between bank accounts....

And the fact that you have to have some money to start with....

"you can double your money in a few days/weeks" - yeah - or lose it all...

808521 2009-09-10 10:30:00 There are many, I use about a dozen avenues; If you own a site/blog then can use ads - contextual/images based on pay per click, such as adsense, amazon, chitika, kontera and others. Also affiliate program ads, notably clickbank, fishpond (NZ based), iTunes, Amazon Stores, adToll, ebay, and numerous others. But you really need to find/create/research keywords/market segments/competitors, etc to create at least a semi profitable niche blog/web sites that rank in search engines (e.g. page 1), and get plenty of targeted visitors to your sites. Took me 18 months of tweaking/optimization, etc to just get a small stable income on one of my blogs.

Also surveys - paid $1 to $15 per survey, takes about 10 min to 2 hours to partcipate. Often involves reviewing new products; I do some surveys for upcoming NZ products (e.g. valued opinions (www.valuedopinions.co.nz)). But can be quite comprehensive, with 5 to 30 pages to complete, with plenty of questions - and some continue a few days later - and then again...but they pay the best.

Writing online; e.g. blovertise and the popular helium (www.helium.com/) (don't need blog site) but can be competitive as experienced writers/authors/web authors/pro bloggers/internet marketers, etc are involved.

Forums - Get paid to "rank" in forums, based on certain factors, e.g. Mylot (http://www.mylot.com/), and a few others. But need to be heavily involved.

There are many click based online jobs, e.g. for ads, emails, search engines, etc, but I found boring. But don't need any real skills.

Also selling online - I use to buy medium priced tools on ebay/USA online stores, and resell on Trademe, but now becoming too competitive in certain segments - with NZ suppliers/importers.

But for me, it's blog/websites that bring in consistent daily money, or unless one can come up with the next global internet hit, e.g a popular social site. If you really want to make serious money online - visit Grizz's make money online (http://makemoneyforbeginners.blogspot.com/). He knows, and has dozens of ideas, and makes thousands a week from plain blogs.

808523 2009-09-11 00:07:00 What a lame question!
Everyone in the world who has heard of the internet wants to make some money on it.
It is not easy, you have to think of something new and a way to monetise it.
And remember that for you to make money someone has to be paying the money. So what do you pay ?
And if someone did have an idea or was making money they would not tell you or you would be taking money from them ! They would try to sell you a book or an ebook.

808524 2009-09-11 01:18:00 You could always get a real job. $12.50 an hour is a lot better than you will make "online". george12 (7)
