| 807939 | 2009-09-08 05:20:00 | Where to get them, or even if theres a certain brand? I have 2 gigabyte ones which are pretty good (actually clip in) and the rest are rubbish. Today I thought I was dealing with a dead hard drive but turns out its just a loose SATA cable made of cheap chineese **** Any recommendations? |

| 807940 | 2009-09-08 06:35:00 | Decent? Rubbish? I find all sata a bit iffy, they tend to be more fragile than IDE. But I get whatever ones one of my supppliers uses and they seem fine, they have right angle and standard, seem like all the rest that are bundles with boards etc. |

| 807946 | 2009-09-08 11:11:00 | Just had a look at the ones Dick Smiths have on their site :horrified :eek: Theirs (www.dse.co.nz) -- Holy CRAP -- Talk about mark up. More like highway robbery. If you wanted whole sale Dove, or Anyware computers have them - but you need an account. Just got some myself a few weeks back. Got some of These ones (www.imagef1.net.nz) as well as the straight, same as DSE - BUT not at their price - lets say for their price a person with an account would be shocked at the DSE price. The orange ones with the metal clip are good - they really hang on, but so far unable to locate who sells them. |
