| 807607 | 2009-09-07 09:17:00 | I have just received a set of Snapfish prints (the Hewlett Packard website). Extremely disappointing. A lot of the prints have a strong orange tinge. Also the biggest print is quite blurred. Sets of prints I have received in the past have been not marvellous but reasonably acceptable for the low price. Has anyone else ordered prints off Snapfish this year ? How did they turn out ? Misty :( :( :illogical |

Misty :( :( :illogical I would contact them, let them know the issue and get them to send another set done properly (at their expense obviously) . It might not be a decline in the quality of their service, but rather a one-off stuff-up that they are unaware of . Then again that could be entirely wrong, but worth giving them a chance . |

Hi Sweep Well I had used Photoshop Elements 6 on almost all of them. The one which is an 8" x 10" was given an "honours" at the North Shore Photographic Society judge, the night it was assessed. The print though has a strong orange tint throughout and is quite blurred -- though the original is sharp. Very bad outcome. :yuck: Misty :groan: |

Hi George I had already sent them an email just before posting. However on doing a search of Photo.net I see that someone who had the same problem had to post back the prints, then had to re-select the same ones for reprinting. If I have to go through all that palaver then will not bother, just count it as a loss and get my prints done locally (or even think of doing them myself !). The cost of posting back and messing around would not make it worthwhile. Misty :) |

I started with 15 or so to test them first and I was quite happy with the results. Also if I want more prints I would do the same again. |
