807507 2009-09-07 02:20:00 Hey guys, im not sure what to do....

Im with Telecom on the "explorer" plan which is 10gb a month, Then its MENT to go down to dial up...

Well i just looked and i have used 25gb and the internet is still going full speed...

Do i just lap it up or ring them about it??

Will i get charged for it? Im quite nervous, Anyone else had this "Problem"?

807508 2009-09-07 02:27:00 Phone Telecom and tell them and if they say you won't be charged for the overage, tell them that you want it in writing!

807509 2009-09-07 02:29:00 There was another poster on this forum who ended up with a $6000+ bill as a result of something similar to what you're describing. You should ring them and see what's going on.

807510 2009-09-07 02:34:00 Yeah call them. Quite possibly you will get charged for more, but if the plan stipulates that you won't be charged for any usage over your cap, then you will get refunded when you call them and have a ***** and moan about it.

Don't go crazy just cause your speed hasn't been lowered though, that's just dishonest! :p

807512 2009-09-07 02:42:00 To prevent the interweb going hard we always wash it in Sudso Phonical Cleaner, then rinse and apply Acme Wonder Web Conditioner (Includes Ginsu Knives). We have never had a hardening of the Internet since we started this course of treatment. R2x1 (4628)
807513 2009-09-07 02:47:00 I am currently on a 3 gig plan. Went over my limit two days ago and had two warnings via Email. Now on dialup speed and I have no complaint about that. With Xtra BTW. Sweep (90)

I will have to try that, Pantene pro-v and Elbow Grease does not seem to work..

807515 2009-09-07 02:52:00 Pantene works, but it is a bit slow ;)
Pro V VIII is quicker.

Do they let you buy xtra bandwidth, same on a $1-2 per GB rate, if you don't want to be slowed down? I still like Xnets system, of only being billed for what you use, even though their service isn't as good as it once was.
