807827 2009-09-08 22:58:00 That dreaded Lucas word again. Cant see headlight spread being a problem in samoa there arent any 6 lane highways

Exactly why there will be problems. Narrow roads and blinded drivers coming straight at you.

807828 2009-09-08 23:39:00 Maybe the US wants top expand into Samoa and the easiest and least costly in wasted ammunition, troops and WMDs is to let them all kill each other by changing the driving rules ever 30-days or so.

It would cut down considerably on having to kill or imprison vast numbers of indigenous persons.

807830 2009-09-09 02:48:00 This used to be mandatory for English drivers taking their cars to France, clip on amber/yellow lenses, but that was in the days when all cars had the same 7" diameter Lucas headlights.

Edit: I have no idea what happens now.
Yep. People were frequently in the dark with Lucas. ;)

807831 2009-09-09 06:14:00 You have all missed the point. The reason for the change is future proofing. The Samoan government are training their people for their new lives in Auckland cruisin' to the big yellow M or BK.

Terry plastic lenses are still used on cars going to Europe

807832 2009-09-09 06:31:00 You got it gary!

SJ, America already has more Samoa than it can handle.

807833 2009-09-09 07:31:00 Only with Hawaii, but we have very few Samoans here in SoCal - although there is a small contingent of them in LA somewhere .

Mainlanders don't talk about the outposts like Hawaii or Guam or New Zealand . Oops! Did I let the cat out of the bag?

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhsh! Say NOTHING! You never heard anything from me!

Prepare NZ to drive on the corrected side of the road very soon . This is a warning!

Some are practicing alternate sides-manship already.
