But if I did work for someone and they offered me an obscene lot of money for running a companies turn over down, and laying off technicians I wouldn't take it because I couldn't look the workers in the face and say we have to economize. |

Which is why you put 20 layers of management between yourself and the people who actually do the work, and then you employ an HR division to manage the way the people who actually do the work deal with the layers of management that protect you. Then you give yourself a massive bonus, fire half the workers,squeeze the rest, ramp up the prices,reduce money spent on infrastructure and divert it into marketing. WOOHOOO.....Telecom in a nutshell. |
