888559 2010-05-27 05:53:00 Are there any cheap quality places? Or do you all just go to jaycar/dick smith etc?
I'm looking to buy a shielded DE-15 extension cable (like a VGA cable, but it has all 15 pins)

888560 2010-05-27 05:55:00 PBTech isn't bad, or maybe Trademe? I find DSE to be very very dear with cables.

There are a few website that deal mainly in cables, one in particular, but I can't think of any of their names right at the moment.

They get all their cables from the same place we get ours, Computer Dynamics.
Never had a problem with any cables from them, ever, in over 15 years of using them as a supplier.

888563 2010-05-27 08:57:00 computer dynamics, not sure if they deal direct with public is the only thing. Alex B (15479)
888564 2010-05-27 09:05:00 They sell direct to the public, but offer no technical advice, so you got to know what you are buying.

888565 2010-05-27 09:06:00 computer dynamics don't sale direct to public. I had a bad 10m VGA extention cable for a projector. 2 cables were giving a fuzzy picture. Change to a couple from Dove and issues gone. No other issues with their cables though. berryb (99)
888566 2010-05-27 09:08:00 Cables direct have been good for me so far gary67 (56)
888567 2010-05-27 09:24:00 computer dynamics sell to public? I didn't know that. Their website says they use resellers. berryb (99)
888568 2010-05-27 09:36:00 They don't have pricing either gary67 (56)
