| 888374 | 2010-05-26 09:53:00 | Hi, So I downloaded a video from tvnzondemand with firefox download helper add on. I then go drag it into windows movie maker and it says the right codec is not installed on your computer. The file is .FLV How do I get this to work with windows movie maker. Ive tryed to download VLC convert it to WMV+WMA(ASF) but only audio come though. Please help thanks |

WMA is audio, thats why you dont get video The option says as one "Video:WMV+WMA(ASF)" Theres no option to jsut choose WMV Why don't you install a codec pack? http://ffdshow-tryout.sourceforge.net/ is what I use. download.cnet.com is another possibility. i tryed the second link but no luck. No video with the FLV file or just the converted file |

| 888378 | 2010-05-26 11:27:00 | I use the free FormatFactory program to convert from one file type to another. You will be able to convert from an flv to a wmv quite easily. The download url is: www.formatoz.com Just be aware it will add an ask.com toolbar to your browser if you do not untick this option near the end of the install process. Good luck. Joe. |
