809972 2009-09-14 01:05:00 Nero CD Burner, perhaps? Renmoo (66)
809973 2009-09-14 01:06:00 Imgburn (www.imgburn.com/). There's also Explore&burn (http:). If you use the 2nd one, remember to install the MS KB file. If you use XP or server 2003 Speedy Gonzales (78)
809974 2009-09-14 01:52:00 ImgBurn it is - thanks .

Nero didn't seem to have that . iso option in it - I looked but might have missed it entirely .

I am going to use it to create an image of Ubuntu 9 . 04 Desktop-i386 . iso for later on a Dell .

809975 2009-09-14 01:56:00 Err if its an ISO already whats the point in creating an ISO of an ISO?

It just needs burning to cd with a program. Nero does have an option, you just have to find it

809976 2009-09-14 02:06:00 I now know and realize that ty! - I had imgburn b4 and somehow lost it. I found it useful for a lot of my - er MP3 thingies - and I missed it a lot.

Just never got it back until now.

I am moving to a place where smoke signals are faster than any internet connection I can get, so I am loading up on things like this ASAP.

809977 2009-09-14 02:21:00 Imgburn is very good but if you want a very small program that doesn't even need to be installed I recommend Active@ ISO Burner www.ntfs.com Agent_24 (57)
809978 2009-09-14 02:31:00 That explore&burn looks pretty good. Since it adds itself as a shell extension as well. So you can burn from within My computer / computer. All you have to do, is install that KB, since its the update that supports dvd burning Speedy Gonzales (78)
809979 2009-09-14 03:41:00 Aha!

I am finding that the updates that are accessible from Feisty are all dead links - at least the repositories for them all fail.

Do I need to upgrade the Ubuntu to a little newer version?

I heard someone say that L-Updates are fraught with dangers and I've met a few of them.

I have in the past met the enemy and he has won! Esp in L-based things!

One more question: Can CCleaner running in Windows clean the partition in Feisty and/or Jaunty?

Somehow now Jaunty asks for a clean up and I wuz wonderin' - -
