809370 2009-09-12 10:23:00 When will the Producer learn that we cannot follow the line of play when he/she constantly pulls the camera back to show us the whole of the rugby field :(

It is like trying to see a pimple on an elephant's arse............................

Oh how I yearn for the good old days when there were only 2 cameras on the field. At least then, we could follow the ball.

809371 2009-09-12 10:53:00 mmm I agree forrest44 (754)
809372 2009-09-12 10:55:00 There wasnt much to watch anyway, besides the hopeless AB's dropping the ball all the time. The AB's should go and play marbles. The women would have done a better job Speedy Gonzales (78)
809373 2009-09-12 11:05:00 The Allblacks need to learn that you can't squeeze 80 minutes of footy into 40 (let alone the last 20!), and the coaches need to learn to start the right players; Stephen Donald had a shocker .

:badpc:

No wonder I drank so much . . . . . /hiccup

809374 2009-09-12 12:07:00 Awesome game, Excellent win for the Boks, TV coverage rocked (two weeks ago there was none)

All in all, **** I'm impressed.

Carry on though, The world needs more people whining.

809376 2009-09-12 13:49:00 When the AB's play like they did tonight it makes me angry (and my mates that were watching the game with me)
Eg. Why the f... did they not take the 3 points at about the 60min mark?? Instead they got cocky and called a scrum which they then got pummelled in!

809377 2009-09-13 04:22:00 It is the Director who calls the shots, not the Producer.

(Yes, I know it's a rugby thread, but there's a world of difference in job description/status at the sharp end of filming.
And you wouldn't call a web designer a programmer, would you..?)

809378 2009-09-13 04:42:00 Thanks Laura

The will someone please sack the Director or at least explain to them how to follow the game.

809379 2009-09-13 06:01:00 Can one now stand by the goal line and dot the ball down, even if he is in front of the kicker by about 5 meters?

Just wondering.

Lurking.
