| 809981 | 2009-09-14 10:31:00 | Aha! I am finding that the updates that are accessible from Feisty are all dead links - at least the repositories for them all fail . Do I need to upgrade the Ubuntu to a little newer version? I heard someone say that L-Updates are fraught with dangers and I've met a few of them . I have in the past met the enemy and he has won! Esp in L-based things! One more question: Can CCleaner running in Windows clean the partition in Feisty and/or Jaunty? Somehow now Jaunty asks for a clean up and I wuz wonderin' - - Feisty Fawn is from 2007 and is no longer supported, which is why you can't get the updates . Best to upgrade to the latest version, 9 . 04 Jaunty or the soon to be released 9 . 10 Karmic . . . |
