When my kids played up I took them outside until they got their stuff together and a couple of times I took them home early when they were playing up after saying sorry to people at next table. In Nelson went to one place and they wouldn't give us a table the kids were about 2 and 5 at the time. At the time I thought fair enough would do the same if I owned a class joint. Yes but they were in the Kids zone in this case, so I doubt anyone was there for the "ambiance". |

That being said when you run a business or are paid to work at a business that caters for families you gotta suck it up and do your job. You are being paid for something, so act mature and professional - if they are that much of a problem ask them to leave. But then again, people gotta entertain themselves, yeah? And as far as kid behavior goes, try a long haul flight if you got a kid behind you. It's a nightmare. And you are paying a few grand for the flight. |

The point is, service staff should make those comments behind the customer's back - i.e. talk about it in the kitchen, smoko room or whatever - not write it on the customer's receipt! |

Presumably it is too late for the mother to learn any form of consideration, but the child may have a chance to learn what is or is not normal behaviour. | R2x1 (4628) | ||

I have gone out on outside breakdowns and the operator has acted like a trained seal while we try to repair his machine. I have said I am outta here **** you get some other sucker to fix this heap of **** machine and never ring our company ever again. |
