| 888695 | 2010-05-28 00:23:00 | Hi, I'm trying to solve the Windows7 XP downgrade confusion with a new laptop purchase. The website states: Xppro Downgrade Installed With Windows 7 Pro License. www.alphacity.co.nz The laptop has a windows7 OA sticker. When booted it boots to XP setup with end user licence agreement, etc. Disks supplied are: Operating system dvd windows7 professional, 32bit, DVD. Application & driver recovery DVD for XP. Application & driver recovery DVD for windows7 Operating system DVD for XP sp3 We want to run windows7, so the question is do we continue the XP setup that is installed, then upgrade or boot directly from the W7 install disk, format fresh, etc? Thanks. |
