I wonder about this, if the system is using more than the installed RAM your system will be paging a lot... any sign of thrashing? (lots of hard drive access when the problem manifests). |

| 888496 | 2010-05-27 06:02:00 | I had that problem recently. It took me ages to find it. Turned out to be the CD/DVD (SATA) drive. I replaced it and haven't had the problem since. |
