810008 2009-09-14 02:38:00 Can anyone recommend anything by Logictech etc that's reasonably priced, and gives a pure, unchanged sound?

They're going to be used by musicians (on a non-existent budget :p) so something approaching studio reference speakers would be good.

That's what you really want, I've used one they are awesome, and couple it with a 5m one of these (www.trademe.co.nz) and this (www.computerlounge.co.nz) and these (www.trademe.co.nz).

The best Logitech speaker system would probably be a Z-5500 but it's no good for doing studio type work.

It really depends on what their definition of reasonably priced is. You can go and spend 10k on a pair of reference quality speakers if you want, in comparison to that a bit over 1k is cheap. :p

A good sound card with a >100db s-n ratio is a must though. I wouldn't want to go any cheaper than the one above.

810012 2009-09-14 05:41:00 Depends I have an Awesome pair of Mission M75's sound is amazing way better than anything else I have used or heard, streets ahead of all those Warfedale surround systems most people seem to get, cost $700 a pair 8 years ago gary67 (56)
