2009-09-12 10:40:00 | I m looking for a good quality wrist watch. No not something like Rolex but something under $1k. Can you suggest some good brands out there. Dont need those sporty types with stop watch etc. Some brand that is contemporary by design and popular. If you can post a list of 3-4 brands in order or quality and looks will be great thankss :D

2009-09-12 10:42:00 | My $20 KMart watch has lasted me around 7 years without a battery change, and is still going strong. Citizen watches are quite good though in terms of quality.

Raymond Weil, Longiness are two. FYI, Rolex for some can be the same prices to Omega, Tag etc... but for 2 or 3 good computers you could get one :D Bought overseas that is. They are self winding so never need a battery, they use your wrist movement as kinetic energy. If you have 2 or 3 grand maybe Tudor the little brother of Rolex that's if it hasn't gone up in prices - oh just one good computer. |

2009-09-12 11:31:00 | Seiko. Just replaced the battery in my Seiko LCD watch for the first time that I bought in 1995. Have had Seiko watches since the mid 70s with mechanical watches then to LCD. :)

2009-09-12 14:42:00 | Get an iWatch, only $4,009 and comes with the assured smugness of knowing that, though it is not a good watch, it is expensive and hence "in". | R2x1 (4628) | |
2009-09-12 21:17:00 | Seiko. Without question. Husbands Seiko of unmentionable age finally gave up and unfortunately due to price we had to settle for a Casio. Seiko isn't expensive like Rolex, just past our budget at present, so go for one of them........
