1105530 2010-06-01 02:53:00 With Outlook you get so many fonts you can use sending emails but is it me being very picky but most seem blurry or not sharp. Even the new Calibri is dull and blurry. I would love a font that is sharp and clean.
So is it me or is that the norm. Cheers.

1105531 2010-06-01 03:40:00 Is it only Mail in Outlook that are Blurry, or other fonts in other apps, Eg: word, or even web pages ? wainuitech (129)

1105533 2010-06-01 11:13:00 Does your output resolution match your screen resolution? You may have had it wrong for a while & grown accustomed to it in the regular Windows fonts, but when you switch to others you notice the flaws.

Your monitor may have an auto-adjust function that re-syncs the screen to what your graphics driver is putting out.

1105534 2010-06-01 23:53:00 Most likely it will be Microsoft's stupid "font smoothing" idea.

I don't know what they were on when they thought it was a necessary feature but I have never had a problem with any font that was "too sharp and hurt my eyes or looked horrible"

In fact the only font's which DO look horrible are their own special blurry ones if you force cleartype off. Then they look like total pieces of crap.
