| 889465 | 2010-05-30 12:15:00 | Hi all I while back I posted about my old PC being at my parents place while i am working overseas, and I was wanting to remotely format/reinstall, before I gave it away Original post here pressf1.pcworld.co.nz (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz) I flagged that idea as it didn't seem really practical. Anyway, my folks are soon visiting on holiday, so is there anyway I can still do this if I get them to bring the HD with them and do it via my PC here? I'm not sure if it's possible to reinstall Win XP that as it won't have the right hardware with it? |

You only need to worry about the NIC drivers really, once you have them and there is connectivity you can do the rest remotely. Find out what the motherboard of the remote PC is and put the drivers on the new install, you might just need to talk someone through installing them on site. | WarNox (8772) | ||
