| 811254 | 2009-09-17 08:37:00 | Ok this has got me annoyed........ :( My daughter and son go to a small school years 1 - 8 and this is my daughters last year there. she has a cell phone, has for a long time. and in the last few months a friend from school and her had been txting......... it has now become what i consider stalking............ he says he rides past ur house on his push bike, he txts her quite a lot nearly everyday......and he is becoming very harrassing, saying my daughter likes him, etc and when i txt him to leave her alone or he will deal with me, his harrasment at school has picked up and he is also now abusing about me in person which is upseting my daughter. i know the mother and father ............. i had considered talking to them, but that wont work, cos they dont really do anything reguarding child disipline. i intend to ring telecom and ask them what they can do. and if all else fails talk to the school, and the police. he has also threatened my daughter to go to telecom and report us as abusing him and get our phones disconnected. any suggestions please...... i am even considering getting a new number for my daughter but am sure he would get it off the friends who have it? He is the same age as her, he goes to the same school and yes will be going to the same school next year as well. :( when they change to secondary level help please beetle |

My advise would be that you have to let him know, in no uncertain terms that this behavior is unacceptable. The little f****r needs to be put in his place. Perhaps take one or two people with you and go to his house. Go with evidence of the abuse and confront his parents. If they don't want to do anything about it, then tell them you are taking all the evidence to the police and then actually go and present it all to the police and ask what they can do. Sux when something like this happens, but you have to realize that it's only happening because you are allowing it to happen. |

He threatened to go to Telecom?! What an excellent idea. Tell the parents, show them some texts. Doesn't matter what they do - you have bought it to their attention. Then report it to the local cop. Then ring Telecom. In that order. |
