Did you mean how much does it cost or why does it cost? 3. If it costs less to register a Dog in Tokoroa would you consider moving to Tokoroa? 4. Would you like to send the said dog to Tokoroa and you stay where you are? 5. Register the Dog in Tokoroa but not where the Dogs lives perhaps? Pedantic, I know, but if you don't ask the right question it is possible you will get answers that don't make much sense. |

| 810724 | 2009-09-16 04:14:00 | In wgtn, depends on several things, Pricing about half way down (www.wellington.govt.nz) - 4 years in a row now I have had a fight with the damncouncil - they cant get our address right :annoyed: If I ask to have a replacement invoice sent out it arrives, the original one doesn't - found out a few months back we are on two different data bases with our old address on one our new on another -- Only been at this address for 4 years. I am NOT paying the $300 fine because some idiot cant get our address right. |

I just phoned the Council to ask. A rural dog is $40.00 regardless. An urban dog is $150.00 unless desexed in which case you only pay $65.00. Makes note to move to a rural area in the event I want a dog. HTH. |
