It simply doesn't fit in with a multicultural democratic country. Its not 1886 any more, deal with it.Time marches on, the world changes. The treaty should be relegated to history, Until this is done more and more ridicules claims will be made on its basis. While we succumbed to their whims, they will always make these demands,given half the chance I would be tempted to get something for nothing ,they can teach us a lot about cunning. |

The Ngai Tahu want compensation to make up for the carbon trading scheme now after full and final settlement 4 years ago. I suppose it will only be for a few 100s of millions. I should stop whinging and just let the government write out more cheques to the maoris. |
