1105647	2010-06-01 09:08:00	Image I mean that Win7 Image thing (under systems folder of the start menu). No, cos I upgraded the firmware on it. I have the Win7 Boot CD to access the image file. I think Seagates are crap now. I bought 3. 1 failed in a few months and got a replacement now that failed, physically they look a bit diff and clearly a diff batch # it failed in a few weeks from first use. I had a 50MB Quantum in 92 lasted to 1997, I had a Maxtor in 1995 and that lasted to like 2004 and was still working till we gave it to eDay.	Nomad (952)
1105648	2010-06-02 05:25:00	Okiedokie ... I plugged the XP HDD and that doesn't work either. After loading a motherboard driver I get a black screen with a blinking white hypen at the top left corner of the screen. This is another Seagate 500GB that was working before I installed W7 on the different HD. I plugged my Seagate 80GB SATA which had a demo version of W7. That went in ok and I could copy all my files for backup at full speed - the other drives were secondary drives....... I plugged the first drive in question and I get the same error as XP. It used to get into W7 via safe mode even as normal then locks up. Now it doesn't. Yesterday it got to the black screen and the 4 square Windows splash page. Now ... hmmmm......... 1105650	2010-06-02 06:48:00	It seems like one of the HD had a loose connector, the plastic around the data plug has come off. When I pulled it, it had no probs. But still a bit weird cos the 80GB W7 demo worked with it ... Outlook 2007 only gave me a 266kB file lol .. so I lost a month's email. Couldn't check it anyway I didn't have Office 2007 installed at other HDDs .... oh well....	Nomad (952)
