2009-09-18 02:19:00 | I'd go with whatever the wife wanted, Its not like I'd be using it. Hell, we could already have one for all I know. Having said that, The single reason of not having to bend over would sway me, Who cares if it rapes a the planet just that tiny bit more?

2009-09-18 02:50:00 | I'm looking to buy a new washing machine cos my old one is about 7yrs old and starting to make screeching noises. I went to LV martin yesterday and the sales guy told me to get a front loader as it is more energy and water efficient compared to the top loader. I have used a top loader all my life, and kinda anxious to get the front loader. Need some opinions please we had a top loader for 20 years. got a front loader about a year ago, best thing ever.... much less water use less power use. quiter. we got a bosh, cost quite a bit, but so happy with it.

2009-09-18 10:44:00 | That is going to take some living down!!!! Husband of the year? PJ Wife is visiting friends, Her cat (blessed wee thing) done the most repulsive sloppy poo I have ever seen on our bed, It soaked right through, stopping at the bottom sheet. So, I stripped the bed, took it all outside, draped it over the fence and hosed all the **** off it. Then put some of the bedding in the tub and the rest in the machine, now I have some in the dryer, some in the washing machine, and some in the tub. No doubt I'll have it all clean by about 2am and then it will be just a case of making the bed and going to sleep. I have of course offered to put her cat in a pillow case and thump it with a piece of wood, This caused her to be more upset then I was over the poo, I have no idea why.

You didnt learn did you ????? that would just make more mess, and more washing, and most likely the cold shoulder for the rest of the year? or even longer? :p beetle |

2009-09-18 21:39:00 | Front loaders are used all over Europe so that kitchens get more bench space as they don't have separate laundries in their houses, also as said they are quieter and more efficient although I don't know if they are better. The fact that you cannot open them mid cycle is a draw back. Some are combined washer/dryer these days. Any way whats wrong with a twin tub?
