| 811057 | 2009-09-17 01:47:00 | I can't get over how large the percentage of people who want it changed is! :waughh: It's only 23% who either want it changed, or don't care, as determined by local referendum. 77% were opposed to it. Almost 50% of submissions were in favour of the change, but that's not surprising - generally with this kind of thing there seem to be more submissions that support the more radical argument, or submissions that are against the status quo. In this case, both of those are on the same side (i.e. pro-h). I was personally surprised by the number of submissions supporting the status quo. |
