1105259 2010-05-31 03:35:00 Hi, I am aware there are free PDF writers. Are there any that will combine diff PDFs together as one and move the pages around?

Cheers.

1105263 2010-05-31 08:01:00 I like Adobe Acrobat Pro (but it's not free), you can combine PDF files and reorder them. Also great is setting the default magnification to a percentage that looks good ie 100%. Too often when you open a PDF file it zooms into 130%+ to fit the screen. If you've got images in the PDF it can make them look pixelated. Orca (3098)
1105264 2010-05-31 09:50:00 Actually installed the free one (nitro) That Speedy pointed out - it has the Set Default Zoom (www.imagef1.net.nz) as well. wainuitech (129)
1105265 2010-05-31 10:31:00 I didn't realise Nitro was free. I'll have to check it out again Greven (91)
1105266 2010-05-31 10:37:00 They appear to have the paid one still - But Speedy posted a free one here tis (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz) wainuitech (129)
1105267 2010-05-31 10:48:00 I can make PDFs using word 2007 but Nitro seems useful for extracting text, images and being able to highlight certain text.

Funny thing I just found too. I note that PDFs published by our local council are not password protected.
