1106513 2010-06-04 02:25:00 Any recommendation on opening these files?

There seems to be a number of programmes available so i thought I'd seek expert advice. ;) :thanks

1106514 2010-06-04 02:27:00 WinRAR, I would say it is the best archival software out there and worth the money (about $30)

7zip is also quite good and free, however I still feel that WinRAR is worth the extra $30 ;)

1106516 2010-06-04 02:37:00 I vote for 7-Zip, its free and does everything you could possibly want. There is even a x64 version. Also supports lots of other formats. WarNox (8772)

1106519 2010-06-04 08:54:00 +1 from me for 7-zip

Not the prettiest interface, but probably the most versatile archive tool out there.

1106520 2010-06-04 09:03:00 Thanks Guys.

I went with 7-Zip in the end and it did the job, but as MushHead says, what an awful interface.

However, given I've only seen a couple of .rar files in the last 10 years I guess it doesn't matter. :D
