| 1106403 | 2010-06-03 08:06:00 | Another of my Seniornet people has just been crying on my shoulder about hassles she's been having with Orcon taking over webworld. She says she has been without internet and email for about a week. It seems to be sorted now, but I'm surprised there has been no comment anywhere about what has been going on. I was at a customers house today, they had to reset up their email - I called orcon, and we had to reset the password, The modem one had to be reset as well. The email only half works in outlook express - we can send, but on receiving it times out, the web mail wont log in says error, IMAP server disconnected. Tried every considerable option in the email settings. While the help line answered the phones quickly they couldn't find any problems -- in the end they took my cell number and called me back after approx 10 minutes saying a technician is looking into the problem. Not holding our breath. :groan: |
