Setting it in the BIOS (as the bootdisk), has nothing to do with what a cd does in windows. They mean 2 different things. The first is used, if you want to do something like a clean install. To run the setup thats on the cd (in windows), you can dbl click on the setup / or install file on the CD (once you open it). Or if the CD has an autorun.inf on it, it should run once you put the CD/DVD in. If youre creating a CD, you can make an autorun.inf file (with notepad), and point it to either the setup / or the install file on the CD you've created. Then it'll run it, once you finalise it, and put it in the CD again |
