2009-09-20 01:35:00 | www.nzherald.co.nz This sucks big time if they lower the blood alcohol limit. It will mean a huge amount of people will blow over the limit, probably people coming back from church after they have had some altar wine.

2009-09-20 04:41:00 | (Students Against Drunk Driving acting general manager Julie Elliotte said a pass from a police breathalyser was no assurance of competence behind the wheel: "You might be legally under the limit, but not safe.") That probably goes for a quarter of drivers drunk or sober.

Seems instead of preventing more idiots we wait til a huge disaster then maybe, just maybe something happens. |

2009-09-20 04:58:00 | The media do these numbnuts tests with cretin **** for brains reporters where they drink and then drive on a supervised race track or driving simulator. They then pretend they cant drive properly and crash its just pathetic. There are a lot of people getting caught in NZ driving pissed from cabinet minister to police to sickness beneficiary. Its not right but its still going to happen. If they drop the level from 400 it just means the capture rate will quadruple and make criminals out of people who only had a can of beer or chicks a glass of wine.

2009-09-20 05:02:00 | Instead of a beer cant they just have a lemonade or something? I mean who has just one beer? Kinda defeats the purpose. Or drink as much as they want and catch a cab, if they can afford to piss it away they can afford a cab. Or they can wait til another person dies blah blah blah man Im turning into such a nanna these days.

2009-09-20 05:12:00 | I'm with Rob on this one I never condone drinking and driving I have lost several mates killed by drink drivers and at the time my mates hadn't been drinking one was a tee totaler and he got killed Ironic isn't it? If you have to drink don't drive. If you can't not drink you have a problem get help. If you want to drive let your missus get drunk. We always take turns when we go out it's not hard is it? | gary67 (56) | |
