| 811946 | 2009-09-19 23:18:00 | Hi all I would be interested to know how one can, legally, force someone to accept payment for a service rendered. Basically they do not want to accept payment as they would rather have a lien (I think it is called) over the horse in question. We have tried courier (signature required) but they refuse to accept all or any signature required goods. Any ideas (legal ones) are much appreciated. Cheers Francis |

| 811949 | 2009-09-19 23:49:00 | I would imagine that they could only hold a lien over the property if you had signed a contract to that effect. I'm no lawyer, would advise asking one. Perhaps you could regard it as a gift horse (:)) seeing as they refuse payment. |
