| 811617 | 2009-09-18 21:36:00 | The Sensible Sentencing Trust has just come up with another stunningly good idea called permanent police supervision. The idea is you identify a criminal, and then have a Police Officer follow them around twenty-four hours a day to ensure they don't offend. This is so brilliant and will obviously prevent all crime happening, that I can't figure out why someone didn't come up with it before. But why stop there? Why not just identify the future criminals and throw them straight in jail, or for that matter identify all future murderers and simply escort them straight to the gallows. Perhaps the Police could hire psychics to confirm who was going to commit the future crimes? In fact, with a little bit of science criminals could be born in jail, as their parents could be imprisoned for conceiving the future criminal in the first place. Sensible Sentencing is easy really. |

| 811619 | 2009-09-18 22:29:00 | Maybe a good idea, but I doubt the police are going to pay so much for every cop to babysit crims. Doubt if they'll use psychics, they dont use them in court cases. So, why would they use them to predict crimes, crims may commit. And if it stopped them from offending / committing crimes, there would be no point in having police, courts, probation, the prisons, or lawyers. Or a justice systerm | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||

| 811622 | 2009-09-18 23:53:00 | Following scum criminals is a good idea because crims are always planning or carrying out their next crime. Its got to be more cost effective than waiting for the crook to offend again. Bit like the NW frontier al quada leaders getting watched and taken out by drones. For every crime there is a victim but liberals and lefties dont care about victims they only care about the crims. The Sensible Sentencing Trust are our protectors all NZ except the crooks owe them big time for their sterling work pushing the pollies to make harsher punishments for crooks. |
