Haha, liked that one.

Neither is putting them in a microwave I'm told.

Not if used in 30 seconds or Wet and Forget as it is in a diluted form. If it dose discolour the concrete it is because it has made it look cleaner. Hire or buy a water blaster that will do a pretty good job as will.

I hope the comments I'm getting about cats is all in fun and not by people who have actually used these methods to get rid of cats.:horrified HA!HA!HA!

811816 2009-09-19 23:36:00 Well, I haven't actually spotted any baited microwaves on suburban lawns yet, but - - - R2x1 (4628)

811818 2009-09-20 02:10:00 I have used the 30 sec stuff on trees wood and lawn, very good indeed.
Wet and forget is 3 times the price.

811819 2009-09-20 03:45:00 Hi Jen, Do I use hot or cold water?:thanksJust use cold water. You are removing the moss by physically scrapping them off. Although, it wouldn't hurt to pour hot water on at the end to kill any remaining bits. Jen (38)

811821 2009-09-20 04:34:00 Spray Sulphate of iron on moss its not really toxic except to moss.
The moss goes all black and shrivels up, real neat death to moss.
But not on concrete paths otherwise you will end up with a rusty brown path. Just hire a water blaster.
I must add I'm not a cat lover so you are lucky you don't live next to me. Where I am working at the moment I noticed five cats next door so it wasn't surprising there was hardly a bird in sight and yet a couple of hundred metres up the road there were tuis and all.

811822 2009-09-20 04:38:00 A water blaster is quick and effective, but unless you're very careful it can also take off the top millimetre or so of concrete, leaving a rough surface that will just "moss-up" even worse next year... johcar (6283)
